    What research says

What do you get for an extra thousand bucks? First off, the obvious extra 50 ccs (technically, the 400 is only a 397, but who's counting). The bore is about 10mm larger and the stroke is about 8mm smaller. You get the same tires, about the same height, about the same width, about the same suspension, about the same ground clearance, but in a heavier machine that has a bit more bite. In the end, the average rider isn't going to notice a huge difference, but if you have the extra cash to spend and like to push the limits, taking the much-loved TRX up a notch couldn't hurt. Or you could spend that $1,000 on mods for the 400. *wink*

    The TRX 450 Review

    Our visitor's opinion

    James is a Beeotch says:

My buddy has one of these and I'm glad to hear the new ones have reverse and electric start. Riding his TRX is a pain in the ass if you're on the trails. I'll stick with my Raptor than you, but if I was the track-riding type a TRX 400 or 450 would be my first choice. Modded all to hell and back, of course.
