    What research says

    Yamaha's 08 Vector is one of the best all-around sleds you can find on the market. Whether you're riding on groomed trails or out in the backcountry, this snowmobile can handle it all for a very reasonable price.

    Other than its price, versatility and durability, our favorite feature on the new Yamaha Vector has to be the same feature we like best on the entire Vector series - A big ass digital multi-function instrument panel. Second to that is the Mono Shock RA suspension, which has a remote adjustment dial so you can tweak it for different riding conditions on the go.

    Other than wishing it was a 150HP engine like its Apex cousin, our biggest gripe would have to be that the Vector sleds are carbureted. Yet, while we like fuel injection sleds, there's something to be said for good ol' fashioned carburetors that can easily be tweaked for altitude and fixed with MacGyver-style tools if need-be.
